Special Events & Offers

It is a great step forward that the Government will allow ceremonies with no more than 30 people in the room to take place from the 4th of July. At the moment a reception after these ceremonies is not yet allowed, but as pubs and restaurants start to open hopefully receptions to celebrate a wedding ceremony will be soon permitted in some form.

At Stubton Hall we are assuming that the restart to weddings will be slow and gradual, but with patience things will improve. We remain hopeful that weddings may be able to recommence in a more normal format in September, but of course we are watching this on a daily basis. We are not currently entertaining postponements for weddings after the end of August as we feel positive that the Government is moving towards allowing Autumn weddings.

Over lockdown we have been really busy keeping Stubton Hall looking better than ever. When we are allowed to reopen, we will of course put the required safety precautions in place. Stubton Hall is isolated in 23 acres of its own property and every wedding we host is on an exclusive-use basis, so there is loads of indoor and outdoor space for social distancing where you and your guests will be the only clients on site.

We've heard some horror stories from couples whose venues haven't been as flexible as we are about forced postponements. If you are considering moving your wedding from another venue, please give us a call because we would like to be helpful.

Please contact us if you would like to book a show round or discuss how Stubton Hall could host your wedding. We've also put together a simple video walkthrough of Stubton Hall for those of you who have never seen it

Whether you are an existing or a new customer, please be in touch if you have any queries.

We are delighted to announce that from May 2021 Stubton Hall will be able to host outdoor wedding ceremonies for up to 100 guests. The ceremony will take place under the portico on the south façade of the Hall with the guests seated on the terrace. Outdoor ceremonies are available May to September.

An outdoor ceremony will incur an extra cost of £500 including VAT at 20%. This fee covers the setup of the chairs outdoors as well as the setup of the Music Room inside Stubton Hall in case the weather turns. All outdoor ceremonies are dependent on weather conditions and it is up to the Lincolnshire Registrar to decide whether or not an outdoor ceremony can proceed. In event of cancellation less than one month before the wedding date, this fee is non-refundable.

Yes it is! That magic moment when our enormous tree reigns over the front hall, the sparkling curtain of lights graces the portico, the grand staircase is festooned with a glittering garland and there are candles everywhere is undoubtedly the most romantic time of the year for a wedding. If you are interested in a December wedding this year or in the future, have a look at our Christmas weddings page, then contact us so that we can explain how we could host your very own Christmas wedding.

Our busiest days for weddings are always weekends, so our venue fee for Fridays and Saturdays reflects that high demand. But what about a Tuesday wedding? We rarely host weddings on Tuesdays, but there is no reason that we can't deliver a spectacular Stubton Hall wedding on a Tuesday. To celebrate the unfairly maligned Tuesday, we are now offering an Affordable Tuesday Venue Fee of only £1,500 at any time of the year (except on the week before Christmas). Yes, you can have a Tuesday in August for only £1,500 venue fee! Choose a Tuesday and you will not only save up to £5,300 on the Stubton Hall venue fee, but you are also likely to find that photographers, hair and makeup artists, bands and other suppliers are not only easy to book, but may also discount their fees. We aren't holding back on anything with this offer. A Tuesday wedding will adhere to the same high standard of delicious food and drink with excellent service as any of our weddings... and of course every wedding at Stubton Hall is on an exclusive-use basis, so you won't be sharing the venue with another party. Go on, make a Tuesday feel special.

We've tried to make our pricing easy to understand, but perhaps you are wondering how to calculate the price of a wedding at Stubton Hall? Here are a few pointers to help:

  • First: choose a package from our guideline prices. This is the per head price that you will pay for each guest.
  • Next: estimate an ideal number of guests, then multiply the guest numbers by the per head package price. This will give you the cost of food and drinks for all daytime guests.
  • Then: add the venue fee, which changes according to the day of the week and time of the year. For example, a July Saturday in 2020 would cost £6,800, but dates that are not in such demand could be much less. This venue fee includes staffing, tables & chairs, linen, crockery & cutlery and VAT at 20% and exclusive use of the reception rooms and outdoor spaces of Stubton Hall for the duration of your wedding.
  • Ta Dah! This calculation (package multiplied by guest numbers plus venue fee) will help you will estimate the basic cost for a Stubton Hall wedding.

Of course we expect you to customise your choices and add on things like flowers, cake or evening buffet, but we like to do that in conversation with you. Please also remember that the prices on our website are guidelines. You may choose options which could change your prices slightly – but don’t worry, the choosing is all part of the fun!
